Copenhagen woke up this morning to the noise of Running Show Car racing through the streets of the Danish capital.
The Red Bull Racing car was driven by David Coulthard, in the city for the Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix, run in Fælledparken Saturday and Sunday (August 4-5).
The action began early in the day at Christianshavn Square before DC drove over Knippels bridge, past the Christiansborg, around the Amalienborg palace square, and finished in Nyhavn.
The day ended at the Copenhagen City Hall where the official press conference for Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix was held.
A big car enthusiast and patron, His Royal Highness Prince Joachim gave the royal seal of approval to proceedings, meeting DC and trying out the Showcar cockpit.
Tomorrow (Saturday) the Running Showcar will do laps of the historic grand prix circuit and do the same again for the fans on Sunday.
