This Saturday, December 1, Sebastian will celebrate his third consecutive drivers’ crown with a special demo run through the streets of Graz in Austria.
The southern Austrian province of Styria has close connections with Red Bull being the home region of company boss Dietrich Mateschitz and the area was also, until 2003, the home of the Austrian Grand Prix, with the race being held in Spielberg. That circuit has since been massively redeveloped as the Red Bull Ring.
But it’s through the winding street of Graz that Seb will blast on Saturday. The picturesque old town of the city will be transformed into a mini F1 test track and Formula One’s youngest triple title winner will steer a blistering course from the Freiheitsplatz to the Karmeliterplatz and Sporgasse. After the run Seb will be on hand for a signing session.
It promises to be a thunderously noisy day in a corner of Graz that’s normally quieter on a Saturday but if a triple world champion can’t make a little noise about his achievements, then who can?
