Christian Maurer has just touched down in Monaco to win Red Bull X-Alps 2011 by a huge margin.

The Swiss has spent the last 11 days paragliding and hiking 864km from Salzburg across eight turnpoints in the Alps to the Mediterranean hotspot. Thousands of dedicated fans have followed his progress on the Red Bull X-Alps Live Tracker

Chrigel lands in the principality a massive 180km ahead of nearest challenger Toma Coconea (ROM).
